NASCAR's Kahne Iowa-bound again
Kasey Kahne is coming back.
World of Outlaws sprint car driver Terry McCarl, who co-promotes the Front Row and Ultimate Challenge races Aug. 6-7 in Oskaloosa, said Kasey Kahne will race at Southern Iowa Speedway for the third straight year.
Kasey Kahne plans to compete in the Aug. 6 Front Row Challenge, but it is unclear whether he'll run the Aug. 7 Ultimate Challenge for non-winged sprints.
Kasey Kahne, who owns Joey Saldana's No. 9 Outlaws sprint car, finished fourth in last year's Front Row Challenge.
Tickets for both pre-Knoxville Nationals events can be obtained by calling (515) 957-0020 from 10 a.m. To 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
Infield Party Passes are $20 in advance or $25 the day of the race.
