Kasey Kahne To Appear In The Monster Mile Club At Dover International Speedway
NASCAR NEXTEL Cup driver Kasey Kahne will appear in the Monster Mile Club at Dover International Speedway on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007. The Monster Mile Club, an all-inclusive pre-race hospitality option, is consistently a fan favorite at the Monster Mile.
Admission to the Monster Mile Club costs $99 and includes food and drink (beer, soda and water), a trackside tour, live entertainment, a limited-edition souvenir item, a program, interactive games and the question-and-answer session with Kasey Kahne.
Kasey Kahne, driver of the No. 9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Charger for Evernham Motorsports, has gained immense popularity since being named the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Raybestos Rookie of the Year in 2004. Kasey Kahne has tallied seven career wins in NASCAR’s premier series, with six of those in the 2006 season. Kasey Kahne has also established himself as one of NASCAR’s top drivers by capturing 13 career poles, including one this season at Las Vegas.
The Monster Mile Club, which can be added to any NASCAR NEXTEL Cup ticket at Dover International Speedway, opens at 7:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast. Trackside tours begin at 8:00 a.m. The hosted question-and-answer session with Kasey Kahne will follow at approximately 10:00 a.m. A catered lunch will be served at 10:30 a.m., and fans will enter the Monster Mile grandstands full and refreshed for the start of the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race. The Monster Mile Club will close at the 1:30 p.m. start of the Sunday, Sept. 23 race.
Kasey Kahne has started seven career NASCAR NEXTEL Cup races at Dover, with his best finish coming in the June 4, 2006 race in which he finished 7th. In his most recent race at Dover, the June 4, 2007 Autism Speaks 400 presented by Visa, Kasey Kahne finished 11th after starting fourth.
